History of I.P.C.Amsi

In the Beginning....

Indian Pentecostal Church of God Amsi was founded in Pr.M.Pushparaj house by Pr. Sadhu Abraham in 1977 with three families.

1977-1979

Pr.Joseph.D.John was appointed as the First Pastor of I.P.C Amsi. For Church, 5 cent land is bought in 1977 and a coconut tree leaf tent is built.

1982-1984

Sister Thamari Bai and Sister Esther were appointed for I.P.C Amsi and did the ministry accompanied by Pr.M.Pushparaj.In 1982 a tiled roof building was built for I.P.C Amsi.

1984-1987

From 1984 to 1987 the ministry was done by Pr. Seedar.

1987-1991

From 1987 to 1991 the ministry was done by Pr. Jebamoni

1991 to 1995

From 1991 to 1995 the ministry was done by Pr. John Iyadurai. During his period the church's tiled roof is changed to a sheet roof.

1991 to 2015

From 1991 January to 8 January 2015 the ministry was done by Pr.M.Pushparaj. In 1999 church was rebuilt into a concrete terraced building.

2015-till now

From January 8 2015, after the death of Pr.M.Pushparaj.The ministry was done by his son Pr.P.Edwinraj till now. In 2018 New Center I.P.C Amsi Center is Created based on I.P.C Amsi with now 40 Pastors are working for Jesus.
